oh god.. honestly, I don't know what to start with. First of all, I didn't appreciate the use of "crazy people muttering on the streets" as a description of people with schizophrenia; "nice word for weird people", "normal people", this isn't the vocabulary you expect a professor from a prestigious university to use. This is cringe to say mildly. I also didn't like the formulation of the test questions. They were unclear and the translation to the different languages is... Awful. Most of the questions I've answered wrong were ones in which you could be interpreting it differently. It wouldn't be that sad if the passing score wasn't 80%, which gives you little room for mistakes. The content was pretty clear; I was taking this course to know some topics I was interested in. I would say if you are interested in psychology and you aren't a newbie it's going to be basic for you. Small note: I don't really like the talk about Dualism or Materialism being the only one right. They can coexist and arguing about it would be foolish. Summery: I was expecting much more from this course because of 'Yale' in the head. For a certificate will do, looks solidly lmao

Although touching on several interesting topics and tought by the very nice and knowledgable Professor Bloom, in my opinion the course lacked depth. Although this is not true for every lecture in this course, overall I would rather recommand the Introductory course on Psychology by Steve Joordans which goes more into detail in mostly similar topics. For someone who wants to get to know the scope of Psychology this course may nevertheless also be great. :)

The course is great and easy to follow. My dissatisfaction is regarding the certificate I obtained in February and can no longer continue because it isn't available and as a result I had to reregister in the same course but from the beginning and without the certificate

"Indians" used incorrectly instead of "Native". This made me lose respect for the lecturer and the course. If the lecturer is incorrect about this, what else is incorrect.

It's unpleasant to watch because the lecturer is not a real person, but a creepy animation.
